Amy Smith achieved a 1st class honours in a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing at The Jewellery School in Birmingham in 2007, and went on to sell and exhibit a unique silver jewellery range at various prestigious shows and galleries in the UK, Germany and USA. She worked as a self employed jeweller for a number of years before going travelling and then returning to Shrewsbury and welcoming her daughter into the world. Since then Amy has combined making more wearable and accessible pieces of silver jewellery with teaching workshops in both jewellery and other crafts.
