This year Heritage Open Days last for 11 days in Oswestry. Lots of free events for all the family, see website and local leaflet for full details. Visitor Centre open every day with exhibitions on Wilfred Owen, Barbara Pym and King Oswald. Sunday 9th talks by Dave Andrews on Wilfred Owen and 16th century re-enactor here 14th – 16th September.
