Newport’s Through the Garden Gate event is your chance to peek behind the gates of some interesting gardens and allotments.
This year there are at least 10 gardens, including some that are opening for the very first time, along with some popular favourites that will delight us once more. All are unique, and demonstrate their owners personal use of their space.
The gardeners will be there to offer tips and advice, with some providing refreshments, raffles, plant sales and other fund raising activities.
Tickets are £5, under 16’s free, and are available from the beginning of June from;
Hey Judes, 3 Stafford Street, TF10 7LU
The Guildhall Tea Rooms, 3 High Street, TF10 7AR.
On the day, tickets will be available from The Cottage Care Centre on Upper Bar, TF10 7EH and all the open gardens.
All proceeds go to Newport in Bloom, which raise funds for the floral displays in the town.
Join us at this stunning outdoor setting, amongst the serene lake and ancient trees of Chetwynd Deer Park, for great music, delicious food and of course fizz! Bring the children, parents, grandparents, picnic hampers and candelabras for a relaxed afternoon and evening filled with beautiful music.
