Looking for ideas for fun things to do in the long summer holidays? Try a free family event run by the BogLIFE team in Whixall, near Whitchurch.
We will be going out onto the Fenn’s & Whixall National Nature Reserve for a morning’s bug hunting and pond dipping. Then, back to our reserve base to eat your picnic lunch and to do some art activities inspired by what we’ve seen on the reserve.
Spend the day with friends visiting 9 pubs dotted around the Shropshire countryside, without worrying who’s driving! Hop on and off buses that arrive every 30-45 minutes at each pub between 11am and 10pm. Start and finish at any pub on route. Sample locally brewed ales, tasty food and soak up the atmosphere.
