Please note that this sound bath will form part of the coursework for my diploma in Integral Sound Healing. It’s a requirement for the coursework that I take a photo of the sound bath whilst it is in progress – please let me know if you’d rather not be in this photo.
If you have any questions, please get in touch! I look forward to hearing from you and to journeying with you into sound ❤
Looking for a simple way to switch off from the busy week and get back in tune with yourself?
A sound bath can help you quiet your mind and allow your body’s rhythms to slow down, encouraging a sense of relaxation and peace.
Join me for a calming sound bath with crystal singing bowls, vocal toning and overtoning – a technique that produces a second note accompanying the voice which is said to evoke a closeness with spirit.
Please bring a yoga mat or other padding to lie on, a blanket and a cushion or two – anything that will make you extra comfortable. You may like to bring an eye mask to further mute your visual senses in order to go deeper into listening.
Please note that for my diploma coursework I need to take a photo of the sound bath whilst it’s in session. You’re welcome to be out of shot if you’re not comfortable with this – I will ask for consent at the beginning.
7-8pm Friday 28th February at Time for You Therapy Centre, Willow Street, Oswestry.
To book your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking forward to sharing soothing sound vibrations with you,

This Workshop has been designed to help you sleep well using a combination of sleep science and mindfulness. It will consist of some examples and poems of how not to sleep. ‘The science.’ Then some guidance on sleeping better. Warning – this may involve making some radical changes to your routine.
As well as the vitally important sleep structure, the Workshop will teach you some physical mindfulness techniques to still the mind, a meditation to improve your sense of well-being and being okay whether you sleep or not, and finally, a practice to engage with hypnogogic/dream imagery that can help bring you into the vicinity of sleep and dreams.
There will be handouts and a worksheet to help you take any changes forward – unfortunately, we don’t have the time to let you actually sleep during the Workshop!
Jñānakumāra was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1997 following 3 years of training and retreats. Since this time, he has taught mindfulness and meditation approaches to people with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, cancer and addiction problems. He is a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in the field of chronic pain and has been responsible for incorporating mindfulness and meditation into two NHS Pain Management Programmes.
Jñānakumāra wrote the Pain Management Programme Handbook that is in use for numerous NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups across England – as well as providing training to the teams to introduce them to the mindfulness aspects of this pain programme. Jñānakumāra has recently developed a Sleep Programme which will hopefully bring benefit to numerous sleep deprived NHS patients across the country.
In addition to introducing
The workshop is £20 and includes refreshments.
(Please note there is a flight of stairs to our workshop space.)
See and Hear is free and open to everyone to try out equipment and learn more about the support on offer to help improve the quality of life for those with sensory impairment, such as hearing or sight loss.
It’s a great opportunity for peer support, networking, gaining knowledge and sharing information with others and is important to all.
We aim to promote avoidable sight and hearing loss, increase awareness of the issues people with sensory impairment face in their daily lives, and to enable those living with sensory impairment to discover more about the technology and support available to help them.
The exhibition will showcase a great many national and local companies, charities and services available to you.
