Santa makes a special visit each Christmas to the Llangollen Railway. Your decorated steam train will transport you in style from Llangollen Station to Carrog (renamed Lapland for Santa’s visit). Santa will give each good boy and girl a special gift on the journey & the adults on-board receive a Mince Pie & a tipple from Santa’s Little Helpers.
All ages and abilities welcome at this fun, interactive and noisy afternoon of music making presented by award winning ensemble the Aurora Percussion Duo. Bring along any ‘junk’ you might have lying about the house and learn how to transform anything and everything into a musical instrument, and how to create a co-composed piece of music too!
Clun Valley Music presents an evening of music from the award winning Pelleas Ensemble and friends. A trio of flute, viola and harp, the Pelleas Ensemble’s captivating vitality and dynamic performance has gained accolades from the Royal Philharmonic Society, Royal Overseas League and more. They will be joining forces with rising-star mezzo soprano Elizabeth Lynch, a member of the National Opera Studio to perform a seminal work of the 20th Century, Luciano Berio’s Folk Songs. Also including works by Debussy, Purcell, Jolivet and Benjamin Graves, the concert promises to be a colourful and theatrical evening of music.
