Take a steam train trip through the beautiful Banwy Valley in an early evening this June and July, complete with fish and chips!
You’ll board the train at Llanfair Caereinion which is easily reached by car from much of the borders and West Midlands. Take particular note of the continental coaches used for your journey, all of which are over 60 years old and were built for service in countries such as Austria and Hungary. Today, they are beautifully panelled inside with wood and have large picture windows.
