Sunday 4th August 2019 3rd Annual Broseley Festival of Motorcycling
Broseley Festival of Motorcycle is free to ride celebration of the early pioneering motorcycle hill climb held in the Shropshire town in the early years of the twentieth century.
Starting at the historic Coalport Bridge over the River Severn, the route took riders up the steep sides of the Ironbridge Gorge, over the tight railway bridge that spanned the Severn Valley Railway, before the charge up to sharp left hander at the Coalport Hairpin and exiting the valley to race into the outskirts of Broseley.
The Festival Parade, which has grown in size from 65 riders to over 200 in its first two years, is run as a leisurely procession following this original sporting route, finishing with closed-road bike parking in Broseley town centre, creating a festival atmosphere.
As well as the Festival Parade and rally there is a fully signed Ride-Out route taking in the beautiful and historic towns of Ironbridge and Much Wenlock.
