Mark uses his trademark style of storytelling, stand-up, subversion and really, really, well researched material to try and find out how the hell we ended up in the middle of this s**t show.
’50 Things About Us’ is a show about songs, gongs, loot, tradition, wigs, nicking, statues, art and identity. A sort of funny national edition of Who Do You Think You Are?
Mark says, “Over the last 34 years, I have gone from stand-up to theatre and half way back again. It’s another slightly odd show, a sort of sweary, History Channel with laughs and creative mischief. If you’ve seen my shows before, this one is going to be a show in the vein of 100 Acts of Minor Dissent.”

Lloyd Cole brings you his latest tour; ‘From Rattlesnakes to Guesswork.’ In 1990 Lloyd launched a solo career and has been making albums ever since. In the early 2000s Cole retreated somewhat from rock/pop, performing mostly acoustically, but his 2013 album Standards took fans, critics, and maybe even the artist himself, aback with its brash electric rock ‘n’ roll sound. This show will present music from Lloyd’s back catalogue, starting with Rattlesnakes in 1984, right up to his forthcoming album Guesswork released on 26 July 2019. His latest album, Guesswork, mirrors the uncertainty of the world as you enter your third act and is consistent with a record whose protagonists seem reluctant to venture confidently beyond the moment.

Inequality, injustice and the demands of the world we live in cause stress and depression for many people. Some explode. “Wild Tales” is a multi-story film about such people. Vulnerable in the face of a reality that shifts and suddenly turns unpredictable, people cross the thin line that divides civilisation and barbarism. Such as a lover’s betrayal, a return to the repressed past, and the violence woven into everyday encounters drive the film’s characters to madness as they cede to the almost-pleasure of losing control.
