On Saturday 7th August we are hosting a fantastically fun 60’s themed ‘Festival on the Field’ to mark 100 years of our much-loved hospital, The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic, and 60 years of The League of Friends.
Join us as we celebrate these significant milestones and honor the work of our incredible frontline NHS staff.
The daytime will host a family-friendly community event involving live music, craft stalls, food and drink and children’s entertainment. The evening will see a swinging sixties themed disco for adults to enjoy.

After a year in hibernation the Shrewsbury Food Festival returns to Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park! On September 4 and 5, 2021, over 200 food, drink and craft exhibitors will come together in the 29 acres of parkland for a food extravaganza. There will be live chef demonstrations, a live music stage, hundreds of stalls showcasing independent businesses and a huge range of children activities to keep the whole family entertained.
