Are you looking to develop your skills with machine embroidery or wanting to learn how to use unusual or different techniques? In this workshop you will play with experimental and unusual surfaces that can revolutionise your creative stitched artworks such as dissolvable fabric, tyvek, photo transfer paper and lutradur.
We will teach you how to draw with your sewing machine and explore all of the basic techniques of Freehand Machine Embroidery. You will have the opportunity to will play with mark making and infilling using different stitch types and you will learn what can be achieved with the four creative fabrics.
