This workshop for adult beginners is led by Mosaic Artist Lindsey Kennedy, who has worked in 3 and 2D design, along with many years experience of teaching art, design and mosaics. During this one day workshop you will learn how to apply a range of tiles using the direct method onto an MDF or plywood base. There will be a large collection of tile material to choose from and you don’t need any previous design or craft experience. You will learn how to create a colourful mosaic design, use tile nippers safely and learn how to apply tiles to a backing board. There will be a choice of bases to work on. The aim is to explore this fascinating craft in a relaxed and friendly environment. Please note masks must be worn by all attendees.
