Prepare to laugh the night away at our comedy and curry night – this promises to be a hugely popular and entertaining evening with a line-up of hilarious comedians.
Ian Stone is a British stand-up comedian, broadcaster and writer notable for appearing as a guest on shows like Mock the Week and is also a regular guest on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk. He currently presents the weekday breakfast show on London-based digital and AM sports radio station Love Sport Radio.
Kate Lucas is an award-winning musical comedian known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented young comic.
Jonathan Elston is a fresh, punchy, gag-driven comic who combines sharp joke writing and quirky observations with a youthful likability that charms his audience and endears him to any room.
A cash bar will be available throughout the night serving soft and alcoholic drinks AND curry! For just £8.95 you can treat yourself to a curry, rice and naan (veggie curry available).
Parking is at the Museum of Iron and Enginuity. Doors open at 7pm. Recommended age for this event is 16+.
Get fired up on Fireworks Night, Saturday 2 November, at Blists Hill Victorian Town. As well as the spectacular family fireworks display on The Green see molten iron being poured into moulds during the dramatic iron casting demonstration in the Foundry.
The gates open at 6pm allowing plenty of time to explore the Town’s Victorian streets and atmospheric buildings. Wrap up warm, tuck into hot food or a cup of chocolate from the café and enjoy the smell of coal fires burning as you make your way down to the Town’s Green for the show. You will be able talk to the townsfolk in their cottages, shops and other places of work and hear about life in the late 1800s.
The highlight of the night will be the fantastic fireworks extravaganza accompanied by music, which will start at around 7.30pm and light up the night sky over the Ironbridge Gorge.

Please note, if we need to cancel this event because of bad weather it will be rescheduled for Saturday 9 November. We will not be offering refunds for weather cancellation unless ticket holders can’t make the rescheduled event. We suggest making sure both dates are free in your diary before booking.
